The Kelowna Rockets are a win away from the second round of the Western Hockey League playoffs.

Dillon Dube scored the game’s only goal in the first period and Michael Herringer made 24 saves for his second shutout of the series in a 1-0 victory over the Kamloops Blazers Wednesday night at the Sandman Centre.

Kelowna now leads the best-of-seven series 3-1, with Game 5 set for Friday night at Prospera Place.

The Rockets, who outshot Kamloops 49-24, denied the Blazers on seven power play opportunites.

Game 6, if necessary, will be played Sunday in Kamloops.
