To the editor:
I note in your picture of the fire damage to two vehicles and townhouses in your March 26 edition of the Lake Country Calendar, that both vehicles have Alberta plates.
I hope the police and insurance companies have asked how long these vehicles have been operated in B.C.
If the time is excessive and the mandatory safety check has been avoided, then perhaps the fault could have been detected earlier.
