Letter: Kelowna could use radar to stop speeders

β€œI know it would be expensive but something needs to be done to stop the speeding.”

To the editor:

I read with interest “RCMP make-up what a joke.” I don’t agree that they see a “joke,” but changes have to be made. Why don’t we have radar like Ontario has. We need it, just as we have on the 401 — the busiest highway in Canada. In Ontario, we have had radar for the last 40 years, it works.

I know it would be expensive but something needs to be done to stop the speeding. They spend everywhere, highways, left and right turns, laneways, churchyards, ect.

Let’s make Kelowna a safer place for everyone.

By the way, thanks for fixing the pothole on Badke Road. It was fixed after two days — congrats to you and the city.
