To the editor:
I am very disappointed and almost appalled that no where in any of the articles written about the new stretch of highway (New Stretch of Highway 97 Opens, Aug. 21 Lake Country Calendar), does your staff reporter, Kevin Parnell, mention anything about Windley Contracting, who are the prime contractors for this project.
An $80-million project that Windley has worked tirelessly on for over two years and the news stories don’t even mention them once.
This is not a small job and the prime contractor deserves recognition for the work they have done and are still doing.
