Predeceased by mother Nancy in 2002 and his life partner Cammie.
Sam is survived by father Sam Sr. of Kamloops, BC, brother Terry Popoff, Alachua, FL, brother Michael Popoff, Grand Forks, BC and sister Lori Dodson, Cold Lake, AB. and many nephews and nieces and of course many friends in Lake Country and Grand Forks.
Due to Covid 19, a celebration of life will be held later in the summer of 2022.
