It's with great sadness, we announce the loss of Brenda Allingham who passed away suddenly on May 5, 2022 at the age of 70 years old.
Survived by her sister, Jean Elliott, her two children, Drew (Chelsey) Allingham and Courtney (Paul) King, along with 4 precious grandchildren Victoria, Zachary, Colt, and Taylor. She was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, Ted, in 2005.
Brenda was born and raised in Oyama as the eldest daughter of Jim & Rena Elliott and married Ted in 1975. Over the years, she shared many special friendships with sister-in-law Janette; "Friday Night Wine Time" friends Lois, Jim, Steve, Ellen, Chris, Sandy, and John; dear friend and travel companion Deborah; lifelong friends of Brenda & Ted, Barb & Grant; childhood friend Terry; sister Jean, and more.
A proud and doting mother, Brenda held her children in highest regard. Spending time travelling or sharing special occasions with Drew & Courtney, their spouses, and then the four grandchildren who graced her life, was one of her greatest joys. These special times will be missed and used to celebrate her for years to come.
Brenda always had a love for travel. She traveled with Ted, and then later in life, with her friends and children, exploring British Columbia, South Africa, Brazil, the Caribbean, and her cherished island of Maui.
These adventures allowed her to spend time with the ones she loved most while enjoying a glass on the patio as one of her favourite pastimes.
Humble, kind, and incredibly devoted to her friends and family, Brenda will be missed by those kept in her small circle.
