Power was fully restored in Lake Country and Vernon at 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday night (Jan. 9).
UPDATE: 9 p.m.
A vehicle collision on Westside Road has caused a power outage that is impacting 1,490 residences.
The outage, which began at approximately 4:30p.m. on Jan.9, was initially impacting BC Hydro customers on both sides of Okanagan Lake, but power has since been restored to residences in Lake Country.
Crews are on-site working to restore power.

A number of residents in the Central Okanagan are without power.
The outage is impacting 1,761 customers with BC Hydro mainly on the west side of Okanagan Lake, however, a few properties in Lake Country’s Okanagan Centre and Carr’s Landing communities are also in the dark.
The cause of the outage is under investigation. No word yet on when power might be restored.
