Canucks fever is alive and well in Lake Country. Hundreds of residents are flying their team’s flag from the windows of the cars.
Other people have taken the enthusiasm a step further and are using their homes as a billboard to cheer on the Canucks.
Jake Lockhart recruited his dad Harley to help him paint his entire home on Bottom Wood Lake Road in the team’s colours.
The effort seems to have paid off, as the paint went up before the first round of the playoffs had even begun.
Jake’s wife Madison says the original agreement was that the house had to be put back the way it was if the Canucks lost one of their series but she says she might let it stay up a while longer if they win the cup.
