Kelowna motel robbed, suspect sought

The suspect threatened to harm the lone front desk clerk and demanded money.

Mounties are looking for any information that may help them arrent the man behind an armed robbery at a Kelowna motel.

RCMP responded to the scene Nov. 17, just after 9 p.m., after they received a report of a robbery just committed at the Super 8 Motel located in the 2500 block of Highway 97 in Kelowna.

Police have determined that a masked man entered the motel lobby carrying a reusable shopping bag and brandishing a knife. The suspect threatened to harm the lone front desk clerk and demanded money. He then fled the motel on foot with an un-disclosed amount of cash to a vehicle waiting nearby.
