Two cougar sightings have been reported over the last 24 hours in Revelstoke.
The City of Revelstoke released a statement yesterday (June 6) at 3 p.m. informing the public that a cougar was spotted near Williamson Lake and that those in the area should exercise caution.
Another Revelstoke resident took to Facebook some later that evening to post that he spotted a cougar in the Southside Area while walking his dog.
It’s not known whether the same cougar was spotted in both incidents.
