West Kelowna Warriors down 2-1 in playoff series with Salmon Arm

Despite outshooting Salmon Arm 43-16 in Game 3 of their second-round playoff series, the West Kelowna Warriors were not able to get more than one puck past Silverbacks goaltender Eli Pulver.

He stopped 42 shots as the Warriors lost 2-1 in Salmon Arm Tuesday (Apr. 23) night.

Salmon Arm took a 2-0 lead in the first period on goals from Jonah Aegerter (2) and Cole Cooksey (6).

It was late in the second period before the Warriors got on the board with a power play goal from Jack Pridham, his eighth of the playoffs.

Pulver and West Kelowna goaltender Matthew DellaRusso shut the door for their teams in the third period.

The Warriors will try to even the Interior Conference Semi Final series tonight (Apr. 24) with Game 4 in Salmon Arm at the Shaw Centre.

Game 5 is Friday (Apr. 26) night at Royal LePage Place with a start time of 7:00 p.m.
