Sheila Marie Sanders has been found safe, according to RCMP.

In a Facebook post, Sheila Marie Sanders’ daughter, Chelsea Sanders expressed in her gratitude to those who shared her Facebook post about her missing mother. The Facebook post said that Sheila Marie Sanders was found in a hotel room in Revelstoke.

RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing person, who was last seen at a hotel in Revelstoke.

Sheila Marie Sanders, a Nelson resident, was last seen May 19 and may be travelling in a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox with the following B.C. license plate, LK554G.

Sanders may be travelling to Golden.

Police are concerned about her health and well-being.

Sanders is described as:

•Caucasian female

•62 years old

• 5 ft 5 in (165 cm)

•150 lbs (68 kg)

•blonde hair

• blue eyes

In a Facebook post shared by a family member, it explained that Sanders had been visiting Peachland on Sunday, May 19.

The post expressed that family members are worried for Sanders and her safety.

The Revelstoke RCMP are encouraging anyone with information about Sanders to contact their local police.
