Applications are now being accepted for student accommodation still under construction at Okanagan College’s Salmon Arm and Vernon campuses.

The Vernon and Salmon Arm campus dormitories are expected to be ready for occupation as of September 2024. The new Vernon building, overlooking Kalamalka Lake, will include 100 beds while the Salmon Arm campus will offer 60, available in a mix of private studio, two- and four-bedroom apartments. Each studio/bedroom will include a bed with mattress, dresser, computer desk and desk chair.

The dormitory housing is available only to individuals with an active application to study at Okanagan College. Accommodations at both the Salmon Arm and Vernon dorms run for $775 per month for a studio apartment, $700 to be in one of the two-bedroom apartments and $625 a month to be in one of the four-bedroom units. These fees include utilities and internet access. The new buildings will also include common and study spaces, a fitness room, laundry facilities and bicycle storage.

Applications are also being accepted for accommodations at the Kelowna Okanagan campus where a new 216-unit dormitory building is also under construction and expected to open in September.
