On the fourth of November the Creekside Theatre will be transformed into a comedy club for a night of laughs with local comedians Jamie Charest, Garrett Clark and Rob Balsdon.

The trio all currently live in Kelowna. Comedy Chaos, as the show is being called, is something of a return to his roots for Charest who attended George Elliot Secondary in the early nineties for several years.

“We decided to do the show in Lake Country because we thought ‘how often does this kind of show go to Lake Couuntry?’” says Charest. “We wanted to give people in Lake Country something to do on a Friday night without necessarily having to drive all the way out to Kelowna or Vernon.”

Charest says the audience can expect an observational style of comedy that pokes fun at day to day happenings that everyone can relate to. With his background in Lake Country Charest plans on bringing some locally relevant topics into his routine as well.

Charest has performed comedy and street theatre extensively in western Canada and several western states.

Clark and Balsdon are both Kelowna residents by way of Newmarket, Ontario. They regularly tour YukYuks comedy clubs across the country.

Following the show, Charest says guests are invited to meet the performers for an after party at Woody’s Pub.
