Costumes and fun will fill downtown from July 14-16 for the 10-year anniversary of the Kelowna Fan Experience.

The annual event will transport the city into the world of superheroes, film, comics, manga, anime, sci-fi, fantasy, horror, gaming, performance and Disney.

The Kelowna Community Theatre, Black Box Theatre and Okanagan Regional Library Downtown will be hosting the three day celebration of pop culture.

There will be a live Dungeons and Dragons game and an artist alley for people to experience.

Empire movie memorabilia will be set up at the event. A video of the display is available on YouTube.

There will also be a panel to discuss the genre of feminist horror films and workshops for a how-to-play Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons.

Come in costume because Fan Experience has hand-picked judges for cosplay and masquerade contests, and a lip sync battle.
