Get your unwrapped presents ready for the annual Toys for Tots to Teens breakfast and drive-thru at Penticton Secondary.

The fundraising event takes place on Thursday, Dec. 7, and will run from 7 to 11 a.m.

The community is invited to bring a new, unwrapped toy or gift for children aged 0 to 18 years of age to Pen-Hi.

For your donation, you can enjoy a free breakfast and live entertainment put on by students inside the concourse of the school.

For those who can’t attend the breakfast, there will be a drive-thru area outside the school where students, Penticton Vees and others will be happy to take your donation.

The goal is simple: collect at least 1,000 unused toys for kids to make sure every child can enjoy the magic of the holiday season.

The Toys For Tots event follows the annual 10,000 Tonight initiative, a joint effort between Penticton Secondary and Princess Margaret Secondary in support of the local Salvation Army food bank. Close to 14,000 non-perishable items were collected thanks to the efforts of leadership students from both schools.
