Find me my furever home

The Kelowna BC SPCA highlights three lucky ladies looking for their furever homes.

The Kelowna BC SPCA is highlighting four lovely ladies who are looking for a new place to call home.

Frenchie is a seven-year-old spayed female tortoise coloured cat who loves to snack and is now hoping to shed a few pounds before bikini season.

She has been at the shelter for several weeks and is in a room all by herself, which might be nice some days, but is also very lonely. Besides relaxing in the sun, Frenchie loves cuddling with humans and would prefer to be the only pet as dogs are annoying.

Also looking for their furever home is bonded mother-daughter pair Winter and Ivy. The two have been in foster for all of Ivy’s eight-week life and are now ready to find their real guardian.

Ivy was Winter’s only kitten to survive so the two are very close and shelter staff does not wish to separate them. At two-years-old Winter is very playful and has tons of energy; however Ivy is still shy and will need so coaxing to come out of her shell.

And the shelter’s longest resident is Angelina Jolie, and 11-year-old tuxedo cat. Staff are unclear why she hasn’t been adopted, so there is no fee to take Angelina home except for her microchip registration payment.

Don’t let her age fool you, this girl has tons of energy and love to still give. She doesn’t like the company of other cats and would prefer a human all to herself.

If you would like to meet any of these cats or any of the other animals at the shelter please contact the Kelowna BC SPCA at 3785 Casorso Road, (250) 861-7722.
