Doris Hewitson and her son Mike collect the kayak that Doris won as part of the District of Lake Country’s social media campaign.
The campaign asked people to submit short videos called “I AM Lake Country.” The clips had people saying what they like to do with their time in Lake Country, what could be improved and what they love about Lake Country.
Hewitson was selected in a random draw.
