Penticton’s roads and trails will be busy with cyclists this weekend, as an annual festival returns to the city for the third year in a row.
Penticton Bike Fest runs on May 4 and 5, with local cyclists hitting the same routes thousands across the region enjoy during summer’s Okanagan Granfondo and Ironman Canada.
The festival includes group rides, a social gathering at 124 Estabrook Avenue and screening of short film Dirt Relations.
A timed race and event at Origin Winery on Sunday wraps up the event.
Penticton city officials said Saturday that people can expect to see extra bikes on roads and trails this weekend, as a result of the festival.
