Lake County skaters hammed up their moment in the spotlight as they brought home medals from the Okanagan Inter-club Figure Skating Competition held Nov. 29, 30 and Dec. 1.

The local girls won gold, silver and bronze medals in the competition which was hosted by the Winfield Figure Skating Club at the Winfield rink.

Linda Sjoman, president of the Winfield Skating Club, congratulated the girls for their achievements.
