Letter: It’s time for Harper to go play golf

Let us face the future, you will not be elected again with a majority. I believe Canadians have had a belly full of your behaviour.

Open letter to Prime Minister Harper:

Please include a free vote for all Canadians in the form of a country-wide referendum regarding whether we abolish the corrupt Senate system and let Canadians decide if we should change the way we elect our MPs and prime minister to Ottawa, let us have a proportional electoral system.

Let us face the future, you will not be elected again with a majority. I believe Canadians have had a belly full of your behaviour. This old English system of giving your old buddies a nice seat in the Senate and allowing them to set their own spending rates is not good enough anymore. Canadians are not afraid of change, especially for the good of taxpayers.

Give it a go Stephen, you have nothing to lose, your huge lifetime pension, medial and dental is secure. You can go play golf with Chretien and Mulroney on the “loser’s golf course.” Canadians will not miss you.  Maybe give some women a chance to show what they can do.

Jorgen Hansen,

Kelowna
