Dad was not afraid of work. After growing up on Black Mountain and Barlee Road, Andy moved to Alberta to work on the pipeline, Sherritt Gordon Mines in Fort Saskatchewan for 20 years and then Hiram Walker in Winfield until retirement.
Andy was always willing to lend a hand…… drove the senior’s bus and often made pancakes for the senior’s breakfast. Dad had great pride in selling poppies at the airport every year.
The family would like to thank the staff at Blue Heron and the Lodge in Lake Country for the care and kindness.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday August 30th, at 10:30am at: St. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, 1935 Barlee Road, Kelowna.
Interment to follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens: 2850 Dry Valley Road, Kelowna – Across from the Airport.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to a children’s charity of your choice.
