1941 ~ 2017
Alain passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on January 9, 2017 at Kelowna General Hospital at the age of 75. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Wendy-Anne, his 2 daughters Lisa Fowler and Bridget Roope, son Paul Klein, step daughter Phillipa Sen, son in laws Brian Roope, Sanj Sen, and daughter in law Jennifer Portelli. Alain is also dearly remembered by his 7 beautiful grandchildren; Tyler, Mikaela, Jaylene, Bailey, Georgia, Pryia, and most recent grandson Kai carrying on the “Klein” name. Alain was predeceased by his mother Christiane Klein and father Lucien Klein. Alain served with Air Canada for 25 years and will be fondly remembered by his colleagues and friends. He had a creative ability to build and design anything from rocking horses to houses, and always enjoyed a good glass of French wine while creating a gourmet meal. His charismatic nature and kindness gave him the ability to touch the hearts of many. He will be deeply missed by all.
