The man arrested and charged with firearms offences in Friday’s police raid on a Hein Road home is the same man who spent time behind bars for manslaughter in 2010.

Daniel Mader is considered a career criminal who was convicted of helping to kill Jody Elliot. After being released from prison in 2013, Mader stole a truck, lead police on a chase and smashed into an officer’s vehicle.
