The Kelowna Foundation will be celebrating the Bell Let’s Talk day alongside the Child Advocacy Centre of Kelowna.
On Jan. 30 the foundation will host an event open to the public that want to talk about mental health, violence, addictions, homelessness and child abuse.
Bell Let’s Talk day is a nation-wide movement designed to get people talking about mental health issues in communities. To honour the spirit of this day they want to get people talking about the big picture, the interconnected social issues that impact the community.

These issues are often linked and so is the important work done by the agencies that work to support those impacted by these issues. The foundation invites the public out to come and meet with these agencies in an informal setting. A chance to enjoy a coffee, ask questions, make connections and learn about some of the amazing social service agencies supporting the community.

This is a casual event designed to connect community to community resources. Admission is free and will be held at 1815 Kirschner Ave Jan. from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
