Due to the rotating job action at local schools, local police have received inquiries as to whether school speed zones will be in effect.
As the schools will remain open and administrators will be on-site, there is potential that some children may still attend their local school. School speed zones will therefore remain in effect and will be enforced.
Due to this job action and many children staying home, there is the further potential to see children playing outside or riding their bicycles on the roadways.
