The event has been taking place worldwide since 1993 and in 2005 the World Day was adopted by the UN General Assembly as “the appropriate acknowledgement for victims of road traffic crashes and their families”.

In Kelowna event will be held from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Waterfront Park, by the dolphins.
