West Kelowna residents have an opportunity to provide input on the Official Community Plan (OCP) update at a public hearing.

The OCP guides long-term planning in the city, and defines policies for land use and development.

The public hearing is Thursday, July 20 at council chambers (2760 Cameron Road) starting at 5 p.m.

There will be limited seating at the hearing, however, residents can participate by phone, or make written submissions, by email or mail.

They must be received before 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, and will be provided to council as part of the publicly posted agenda. All submissions received before the close of the public hearing become part of the public record.

Council cannot receive submissions after the conclusion of the public hearing, which will also be live-streamed on the City of West Kelowna website.
