West Kelowna property owners will receive their tax notices starting this week (May 29).
Those who have registered for e-billing have received their notices by email.
The City of West Kelowna encourages property owners to pay their taxes and claim Home Owner Grants (HOG) through the province by 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 4 to avoid the 10 per cent late penalty.
Property owners must separately claim the HOG province before the deadline.
Taxes can be paid through a bank, online, and in person. The city reminds residents that Monday, July 3 is the Canada Day statutory holiday and municipal offices will be closed.
Council unanimously adopted the 2023 budget and five-year financial plan, which included an increase of five per cent for municipal taxes.
