Property tax notices in the mail for West Kelowna residents

The deadline to pay is 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 4 to avoid a 10 per cent late penalty

West Kelowna property owners will receive their tax notices starting this week (May 29).

Those who have registered for e-billing have received their notices by email.

The City of West Kelowna encourages property owners to pay their taxes and claim Home Owner Grants (HOG) through the province by 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 4 to avoid the 10 per cent late penalty.

Property owners must separately claim the HOG province before the deadline.

Taxes can be paid through a bank, online, and in person. The city reminds residents that Monday, July 3 is the Canada Day statutory holiday and municipal offices will be closed.
