A power outage caused by a downed tree in East Kelowna has affected 1,475 customers.
According to the FortisBC outage map, the outage occurred at 11:25 a.m.
“We regret any inconvenience and will restore power as quickly as possible. We have crews on the way to make repairs. We are also working to isolate the impacted section so we can restore power to most impacted customers from an alternate line. The restoration time for any remaining customers is unknown at this time and will depend on the extent of the repairs,” said Nicole Bogdanovic, of FortisBC.
There is no estimated time when power will return to customers.
