Power outage affects customers near Kelowna General Hospital

A small power outage near Kelowna General Hospital is currently leaving 131 FortisBC customers without power. (FortisBC)

More than 100 residents are without power near Kelowna General Hospital.

The outage occurred at 11:43 p.m. Monday night (June 26) and affected 1,256 customers. Since then, 1,125 residents have had their power restored.

The remaining 131 customers without power range from Rose Avenue, down Abbott Street to Strathcona Avenue. Power is expected to be back by 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
