Power outage in Southeast Kelowna

Fortis BC crews are working in McCulloch Road area

A vehicle hit a utility pole and knocked out power in the Pooley Road area of Southeast Kelowna at 4:23 a.m. Sunday morning, affecting about 500 customers.

A Fortis B.C. crew has been on site throughout the day performing repairs. Just three customers remain with power.

Fortis is also tending to a repair in the Senger Road area of East Kelowna where 76 customers are currently without power.
