The new year got off to a chilly start in Oyama as an enthusiastic crowd turned out for the 2017 polar bear swim at Wood Lake on Oyama Road Sunday, New Year’s Day.
The tradition is hosted by the Oyama branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.
Polar Bear dips were help across the region.
