A multi-vehicle accident puts a motorhome into Wood Lake.

An RV slid into Wood Lake Thursday July 25. Unconfirmed sources say one person was taken to hospital with critical injuries while others were treated on-site.

Update 2:54 p.m.: One critically injured patient was transported to hospital. More ambulances were called to deal with another four people reported injured at the scene.


Initial unconfirmed reports Thursday afternoon said a fifth-wheel vehicle slid into Wood Lake after a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 97 near Oyama Road.

Rescue vehicles were called out at about 2:45 p.m. Thursday, July 25.

Unconfirmed reports had all occupants out of the vehicles.

Expect delays through the area.
