A power outage in Kelowna is affecting more than 1,000 residents.
According to FortisBC’s outage map, the power went out 7 a.m. affecting 1,500 residents in the Ellison area.
The estimated time of repair is currently unknown. Emergency crews responded to reports of a sparking transformer in the Old Vernon Road area this morning.
