Police believe foul play is involved, but are giving up few details

Police say foul play was involved in the death.

RCMP Major Crimes is investigating a suspicious death near Princeton on Saturday, June 15.

Few details are being released about the incident. According to an RCMP press release there is no danger to the public.

“As it’s believed the man’s death is the result of foul play, the Southeast District Major Crime Unit has assumed conduct of the investigation,” said Staff Sergeant Jason Smart, NCO i/c of the Southeast District MCU.

“Investigators believe this incident is isolated.”

The death occurred on a property just outside of the community, a release stated. Investigators are not naming the victim, and state there will be no further details released.
