Another landslide has closed Highway 97 at Lakeshore Drive in Summerland.

An assessment is in progress.

Detours are available via Highway 97C, Highway 5A and Highway 3.

Drivers are asked to watch for traffic control on the road and expect delays in the area.

There is no estimated time of reopening as of yet. More dirt came down the hillside about 7 a.m. and crews working in the area expect slides will continue throughout the day.

There have been multiple slides in this area causing closures on Highway 97 since April.

More to come.
