Over the past two years the Lake Country Winfield Lions has raised $5,000 with its Pasta and Blues dinner and dance. The funds go to the Lake Country Seniors Bus Society.

A sold out audience enjoyed a recent evening of entertainment by local singers Jennifer and Sophie Boal, accompanied by Lion Randy Rose on the piano. The Kelowna Dreamland Band along with vocalists Alysha Anderson and Robert Fine were the main attraction.

The Lions cooked and served up an amazing meal of home-made pasta, salad and desserts along with some great wine from Gray Monk Winery.

Local businesses were very generous donating gifts for the door prize draws. The Lions would like to thank the community for their generous support of this annual event and invite you to watch for it again next February.

With the funds raised from the Pasta and Blues over the past two years the Lake Country Winfield Lions made a donation of $5,000 to the Lake Country Seniors Bus Society to help purchase a new seniors' bus.
