A grass fire near Lake Country sparked some concerns Friday evening.
The blaze in Okanagan Centre took off near The Lakes around 6:30 p.m. but was under control within an hour.
“We’re not even in May yet,” said James MacGregor on Facebook.
It’s believed the blaze was started by open burning and may have gotten away due to the wind.
