Big White was more like Big Water after videos posted to a community Facebook group showed fast-flowing runoff on roads in the ski community southeast of Kelowna.

The videos posted by Christopher Sheriff show water rising at Bullet Creek and a road washed out.

The videos were posted to social media on May 27. Visitors to the area have said the situation has calmed down.

Big White Ski Resort’s Senior Vice President Michael Ballingall says the water is due to run-off from the mountain.
