Several trees came down in Kelowna’s Rutland neighbourhood on July 9.

The first tree fell on Molnar Road, breaking multiple hyrdo poles and cutting power.

Power is out for 334 Fortis BC customers.

A seccond tree fell in a yard in the 600-block of Rutland Road South. The home appeared to be without damage, but Fortis BC was called in to assess the situation.

And a third tree fell in the 800-block of Rutland Road South. Kelowna RCMP was called in to help with traffic control as it blocked most of the road.

Kelowna city crews were on scene to remove the tree.
