Richard has a M.Sc Degree in Engineering, spending many years working in Canada, the US and Ireland. He also holds degrees in Music and Recording Arts, and is an accomplished musician, songwriter, filmmaker, and teacher.

He moved to Winfield to be closer to his family and to enjoy the Okanagan lifestyle. In his word:

“This community has everything I want: family, recreation, mild climate, natural beauty, arts, and easy access to both larger civic centres and remote wilderness areas, a great blend of “small-town” values and “big city” opportunities and entertainment.  It’s the best place in Canada to live.”
