District of Lake Country: Gambell, Penny - Running for seat as at large councillor

Penny Gambell grew up in Lake Country, raised her family here, and is actively farming today.

Penny has served as Councillor at Large since 2005 and has experience in leadership of a number of agricultural associations as well as federal and provincial boards.  On Council, Penny is the Mayor’s alternate to the Regional District, on the Water Committee, Economic Development Committee, Agricultural Advisory Committee and Tourism Kelowna.

In the past Penny has served on Youth Soccer, the Winfield United Church Council, and on the Oceola Arts Council.

Penny is passionate about the quality of life and future of Lake Country.
