A classic rock tribute headlined Rockin The Beach will take place Saturday, July 15, from the outdoor Island Stage at Waterfront Park in Kelowna.

Put on by the Okanagan Experiential Tourism, this will be the first concert staged by the company’s owner/founder Don DeGagne, and will also serve as a fundraiser for the SPCA.

DeGagne says what will make this concert unique is seeing six individual musicians each performing four songs from their favourite classic rock artist’s musical catalogue.

Among the artists represented on stage in the tribute concert will include Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Pat Benetar, Sarah McLachlan, Stevie Nicks & Christie McVie from Fleetwood Mac, The Doors and Led Zeppelin.

The concert starts at 6 p.m.
