A chain reaction crash ended with a red truck smashing into the front end of a much larger red fire truck.
Early reports from the scene indicate the driver of the white SUV crashed into the back of the red pickup truck, forcing the truck into the front of Engine 31.
The accident at about 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon shut down Gossett Road at Old Okaganan Highway as a result of the crash.
Paramedics were on scene looking over those involved, but there were reportedly no serious injuries.
