The bridge that links Swalwell Park to Creekside Park is closed until further notice.
The District of Lake Country decided to shut down the bridge between the two popular parks to assess whether it needs to be replaced.
On March 28 district staff were forced to shut the foot bridge until further notice.
The bridge has been identified as a structure that is in need of replacement and the district is currently reviewing the structure to see if repairs are possible to provide a short term solution or whether the bridge needs to be replaced in its entirety.
The general public is asked to stay off the structure and use the pathway around the creek to Bottom Wood Lake Road to walk between the parks.
