UPDATE: Motorcross incident in West Kelowna sends 1 to hospital

Update Sept. 9 4:50 p.m.

One person was transported to hospital following an incident at the Bear Creek Motorcross Track near West Kelowna. 

BC Emergency Health Services confirmed they responded to a vehicle incident just after 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 8. 

Paramedics provided emergency care to the injured person on scene before they were taken away by ambulance. 

Original Sept. 8 1:40 p.m.

Emergency crews have been called to the motorcross track in the Bear Creek area on the west side of Okanagan Lake. 

The call came in around 1:30 p.m.

Details are unknown at this time.
