The fourth annual Parade with a Purpose is set to hit the streets of Kettle Valley on Dec. 2 at 6 p.m.
The Kelowna holiday fundraiser is supporting the Bridge’s Youth Recovery House campaign.
“We’re just $16,000 away from our $100,000 goal and we have a couple of really exciting ways for people to help us get there,” says Pam Turgeon, founder of Parade with a Purpose.
There are 25 floats registered for the parade and its expected to be more festive than ever.
Organizers are auctioning off a VIP experience for this year’s parade.
The winner will be treated to a reserved parking space at the Kettle Valley Public on Main. Joined by up to four people, the winner will then be treated a classic burger dinner before being escorted to a prime parade viewing spot with a tent, heaters, snacks, and hot chocolate. The auction is open online until 3 p.m. Dec. 1.
CRAFT Beer Market is also getting in on the fundraising action. The restaurant has their annual Charity Day on Nov. 30 and all tips received between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. will be donated to the parade.
