The Lake Country Seniors Activity Centre hosted an open house at its Memorial Rose Garden on Sunday, Aug. 16.
Dorothy Dussault, Seniors Centre Society president, and her husband Bob, along with other volunteers set up with cake, coffee and tea as refreshments.
There was a lot of interest in viewing the name plaques on the Memorial Wall installed inside the gazebo and along the back wall of the Seniors Centre. Anyone can purchase a small plaque for $20 (engraved and installed) to memorialize a loved one.
The Seniors Centre hosts weekly lunches for $9 and offers many programs including Prime Time music performances. New members are welcome and anyone can attend events.
