The wet weather didn't deter families from showing up to CSN Collision's annual Father's Day car show in Kelowna.

City Park was packed with cars and umbrellas on June 16 as hundreds of people showed up to peruse the vehicles, check out some local vendors, and grab a bite to eat at one of the food trucks.

The annual event serves as a fundraiser for the Child and Youth Advocacy Centre.

Executive Director Ginny Becker said the event has raised over $200,000 for the centre over the years.

Becker explained that when Boyd's Autobody decided to step down as host the centre wasn't sure what would happen with the fundraiser.

"CSN stepped right up to persist with the car show and with the fundraising."

The fundraising side of the day is through a raffle for a new car. The prize vehicle is a 2019 Lexus IS 300.

The goal for the day was to raise $50,000.

The CSN Car Show ran from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
